Jellanam-do Goheung Balpo

Balpo beach is located 16 km away and south east from Goheung-eup with a beautiful 1 km long golden sandy beach. It used to be called “Tangsabakgol” which means ‘healing sand’. Long shallow and gently deepening fine golden sand beach is well known for sand bathing that soothes neuralgia & gynecological symptoms. You can catch clams when it’s low tide and fishing near the sea.

We offer 55 guest rooms and our deluxe suites accommodate up to 8 guests. We offer cozy  traditional Korean heated floor sleep and simple  western style rooms with a queen bed or two double beds.

You will enjoy the view of Balpo cove with strolling of fishermans’ boats and shiny mullet jumpings from the sea.
